Apologize Remix pt 7The light burned his eyes.   
Hidan hissed as the blinding white hit the back of his eyelids, the ringing sending tremors through his body. His whole body ached, moving the worst torture Hidan cold think of at the moment.   
As he sat up slowly, he tried to remember to breathe. Breathe in, breathe out. Repeat. Breathe in, breathe out. Twenty eight breathes later, and Hidan was sitting up, shoulders hunched as he continued to breathe.

JEALOUSY part 2Kakuzu wasn’t exactly greedy. He was more along the lines of possessive. As in, if something belonged to the banker, don’t take it, touch it, or even breathe on it if you had any intention whatsoever of living through the next five minutes. He was like that when it came to his weapons, clothing, and his money, among other things.   
It was this possessive nature that had sparked the conversation now going on in the Akatsuki kitchen.

When my partner gave me the riceball, I was more than a bit wary. Perhaps Kisame had not forgotten the wheat incident, and was preparing to take his ironic revenge! Biting back my distrust and a hiss, I ingested the food. To my relief, it was both delicious and nontoxic.
